Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information The Stormie Group collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

The Stormie Group ("Stormie", "we", "us") is a professional services firm located at 1650 Market St, Philadelphia, PA 19103. We provide software development, marketing and event management services. We are the controller of personal information described in this policy.

2. Information we collect

  • Information you give us: name, company, email address, phone number and any details you include in an inquiry or proposal request.
  • Client engagement information: contract details, billing contacts, project materials and correspondence.
  • Event information: attendee registrations, dietary or accessibility requirements and check-in records, where we process events on behalf of a client.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser type, device type, referring pages and pages visited, collected through standard server logs and analytics.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and we do not sell personal information.

3. How we use information

  • Responding to inquiries and preparing proposals.
  • Delivering, supporting and invoicing contracted services.
  • Operating and improving our website and marketing communications.
  • Meeting legal, tax, accounting and security obligations.

Our legal bases, where applicable, are performance of a contract, our legitimate interest in operating and promoting the business, your consent, and compliance with law.

4. Sharing

We share personal information with service providers who process it on our behalf — cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics, payment processing, registration platforms and event vendors — under contracts that limit their use of the data. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger or sale of assets.

5. Retention

We keep inquiry data for up to 24 months, client engagement records for the duration of the relationship plus seven years for tax and legal purposes, and event attendee data for up to 12 months after the event unless the client instructs otherwise.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may also opt out of targeted advertising. To exercise any right, email support@stormiegroup.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

7. Security

We use access controls, encryption in transit, least-privilege credentials and vendor review to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International transfers

We are based in the United States and process information there. If you contact us from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced on this page.
